A CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
Hamza was introduced to LINC during the interview process. He was interested in a position at B. Braun Medical, a company with its Americas headquarters in Lehigh Valley, PA. A young professional, originally from Pakistan, and currently in Tennessee.
Hamza was curious about the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. He wondered what the communities are like for a young, single man from the Middle East and whether he would be able to afford quality housing. LINC connected Hamza with a local realtor who provided an area tour and introduced him to several of the neighborhoods in areas that aligned with his interests of being in a walkable, vibrant downtown. After an hour-long consultation with a LINC Community Transition specialist, Hamza decided to accept the position.
LINC continued to provide Hamza with support leading up to and after his move. He moved into a beautiful apartment in downtown Allentown and immediately started participating in LINC’s events geared toward young professionals. In the summer he attended a LINC ice cream social to meet other young people working at B. Braun and a few months later he joined LINC for a corn maze adventure. While it always takes time to make friends,
